    Gisele et Georges is a love story that centers on an 83 year-old French woman who is suffering from the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. After her granddaughter discovers a series of original letters exchanged between her grandparents - then just two young lovers - post WWII, she is determined to piece together their story which no longer exists in memory. As she weaves the stories together - the past with the present - we learn that some things can never be forgotten.

    Alexandra Zimbler grew up in Russia and England, where she briefly pursued a career in figure skating. She then moved to the U.S., studied Visual Arts at Harvard, and spent a summer at the Prague Film School. She currently works in Film & TV Development at Michael Shamberg's MAS Production.
